Object: Messier 81, 82, NGC 3077 - Bodes and Cigar galaxy, magnitude 7, distance 11,8 Mly - 2021-03-04
Discovered by: M81 and M82, Johann Elert Bode on December 31 1774 And NGC 3077 by William Herschel on November 8 1801
Note: As a little knowledge, the irregular faint galxy just above M81 is named Holmberg IX after the Swedish astronomer Erik Holmberg. It is in fact a dwarf irregular galaxy and a satellite galaxy to M81, it is also named PGC28757 see version 2
