 Object: NGC 1499 - California nebula, magnitude 6, distance 1000 ly - 2019-12-02 Discovered by: E. E. Barnard in 1884 Note: This is not the normal way to present this nebula, but what is normal when we still cant see it. I finds that this colour gives the nebula a calming effect.
